About the
Artist Statement
I believe living life is an art; life should constitute colors and desirable combinations of colors. The energy that I pass to the canvas board, which shows the life I see, is also made of vibrant colors. The beauty of this notion lies in millions of colors used by billions of people; however, it takes only a few combinations to express feelings. I too pick the recipe that resonates with my feelings. I have used my canvas at certain times to express certain feelings with specific colors. No one can express their self in whole; they can express themselves only in parts. My paintings–colors–are the narration of my life in different modes and circumstances.
I have used multiple modes of colors, none were available to me; only the ones I felt by the expression–of feelings. Similarly, a language is composed of few alphabets, but these few alphabets create billions and trillions of words; thus we see the beautification of expression in only a selection of a few words. The imaginative infinitude lies in the countless shapes that describe a portion of us. I too can write a book on each of my paintings if I decided to express my feelings in words instead of colors; if you are a writer, try it–you’ll find a lot in it. You may find yourself in it.
Artist Biography
I was born in 1977 in South Asia, and I got Master’s Degree in Business and Economics from there. Though I do not have any professional degree in Arts I always had a deep connection with it, and painting was my hobby since childhood. I moved to the United States in 2003, and I have been living in Atlantic City, NJ since then. I have started a retail business on Atlantic City’s Boardwalk, but never stopped painting. After making around 200 artworks, I have finally decided to reveal my work to art lovers. I consider painting more than a profession, for me, it is a passion and a medium of expressing my thoughts and feelings using the beautiful color combinations of nature.
